Mojo Links LLC acquired Magera Marketing on December 27, 2024. The transaction merged two operationally complementary SEO firms into a single delivery team. Link building was the founding service at Mojo Links. Technical SEO audits and content strategy were the core deliverables at Magera Marketing. The merged firm now ships both under one delivery pipeline.

Clients buying SEO have been trained to assemble it themselves. One agency for backlinks. Another for technical audits. A third for content. A fourth for reporting. Each one optimizing its own narrow brief while the site bleeds traffic between them. That model dies in this acquisition.

This post documents what the merger covers, what changed for existing clients of both firms, and how the new service stack is organized. If you came here looking for the press-release version, this is the operator's version instead.

Mojo Links LLC acquired Magera Marketing on December 27, 2024. Mojo Links was the link-building and SEO agency. Magera Marketing was the technical SEO and content strategy firm. The combined entity operates under the Mojo Links brand from Wyoming, USA.

Mojo Links was founded in 2019 as a specialist link-building agency. The work covered manual outreach, niche edits, and guest post placements across regulated YMYL verticals: legal, medical, finance, crypto, gambling, supplements. Magera Marketing operated alongside it as a technical SEO consultancy focused on audits, content strategy, and topical map architecture.

Both firms shared overlapping operator DNA on the strategy side. The acquisition consolidates the two service lines into a single P&L, a single delivery team, and a single client-facing brand. Magera Marketing's website redirects forward; we transferred client contracts under the same scope and pricing.

The acquisition closes a service gap. Mojo Links clients regularly needed technical audits and content architecture to make link campaigns work. Magera Marketing already did that work. Merging removed the referral handoff and put both capabilities on one delivery clock.

Most ranking failures we audit are not link failures. They are technical or topical failures with a link campaign trying to compensate. A site with crawl waste, thin topical coverage, or a fragmented internal link graph will not rank no matter how many DR 70 backlinks it earns. We have audited hundreds of sites where the previous agency tried link building as the only lever. The pattern repeats across every vertical.

The fix was internal capability. Hiring it would have taken 18 months. Buying it took one acquisition.

What Does the Merged Service Stack Include?

The merged stack ships five core deliverables: link-building campaigns, technical SEO audits, semantic SEO audits, topical maps, and monthly SEO retainers. All five run under one project lead. No external referrals, no handoffs.

The service split looks like this:

  • Link-building campaigns: manual outreach, guest posts, niche edits. The original Mojo Links offer.

  • Technical SEO audit: Sitebulb crawl at full depth, GSC cross-reference, Ahrefs link audit. Ported in from the Magera Marketing framework.

  • Semantic SEO audit: entity coverage scoring, topical authority diagnostics, AI-citation readiness against Koray Tugberk Gubur's framework.

  • Topical maps: query network architecture for the central entity, scoped before any writing happens.

  • Monthly SEO: the integration product. Combines all four above on a retainer cadence.

Each service previously existed in isolation from one of the two firms. They are now available together, sequenced by what the site actually needs.

Who Benefits from This Acquisition?

Three buyer types benefit: marketing directors tired of running multi-agency SEO, agency owners who want one senior strategist instead of a junior account team, and business owners in regulated verticals where SEO mistakes carry compliance risk on top of revenue risk.

The buyer profile did not change. The buyer's frustration did. A typical Mojo Links inquiry historically read: "Our links are not moving rankings, can you look at our profile?" After the merger, the same buyer can also book the technical and semantic audit that explains why the links are not working. Same call, same operator, no referral chain.

Nothing changes in your active link-building scope. New services (technical audit, semantic audit, topical maps) are now available as add-ons under your existing contact and senior strategist. No new onboarding. No new account manager. No pricing change on current campaigns.

The 120-day replacement guarantee on links has not changed. The senior strategist access model has not changed. The reporting cadence has not changed.

What changed: when an audit on your campaign surfaces a technical or topical issue (which they routinely do), the fix path is now internal instead of a referral to a partner agency.

What Changes for Existing Magera Marketing Clients?

Your active audit and content strategy projects continue under the same operator on the same delivery timeline. Invoices and contracts now bill from Mojo Links LLC instead of Magera Marketing. Link-building services are available to you for the first time without an external referral.

Magera Marketing clients gain direct access to manual outreach, guest posts, and niche edits as part of the same engagement model. If you have been outsourcing link work to a separate vendor, that vendor is no longer required for the scope our team covers.

For continuity of legal documentation, service agreements were reassigned to Mojo Links LLC under the same terms.

Why Does Full-Stack SEO Under One Roof Beat Agency-Hopping?

Multi-agency SEO fragments the diagnosis. Each agency optimizes its own narrow brief while ignoring the upstream cause of the ranking failure. One team running technical, semantic, and link work in sequence catches root causes the previous setup masked.

The standard SEO buyer setup is a links agency, a content agency, a technical agency, and an in-house marketing lead trying to thread them together. Anyone who tells you SEO is just backlinks is selling you one service and calling it strategy.

A Backlinko analysis of 11.8 million Google search results found backlinks remain one of the strongest correlates with ranking position. The same study also found that pages ranking in the top 10 had stronger content depth, faster page speed, and tighter topical relevance than lower-ranked pages. Links alone will not rank a technically broken site.

Google documents a stack of ranking systems working in combination: helpful content, links, page experience, and freshness among them. Optimizing for one of these while ignoring the others is the pattern that keeps producing the "we are doing link building and nothing is happening" inquiry.

What Happens Next?

Mojo Links delivery rolls forward under the merged team. New client onboarding includes a baseline technical and semantic audit before any link work begins. The free growth audit now runs across all four pillars in a single 20-minute session.

The audit covers technical health, backlink profile, content and topical coverage, and AI visibility. Before the acquisition, the first three pillars required separate scope. They now run in one session under one operator.

If you have been the buyer on the multi-agency setup described above, the merger exists to remove that pain. Book the free growth audit if you want to see what one team covers in 20 minutes.
